A web service for the person who actually files the expense claim: photograph a receipt and the date, merchant, category and amount fill themselves in, then the whole month exports to Excel, CSV or PDF in one click.

thatreceipt.com turns a phone photo of a receipt into a filled-in expense row. The image is compressed in the browser, read on the server, and the extracted date, merchant, category and amount land in an editable record. At month end the whole period exports as an Excel sheet, a CSV or a PDF pack — the format finance actually asks for.
Existing expense tools are sold to companies and priced per employee. The person who really suffers is the employee claiming their own money back, and nobody was building for them. The brief was a service cheap enough to pay for personally, quick enough to use while walking out of the restaurant, and honest about privacy.
We turn paperwork — receipts, invoices, certificates, statements — into structured data your systems can use.
